This site is under development and is still quite basic; it has limited linking and no comment facilities. However, it does work, and should be further progressed in 2026.

The site includes some photographs that I think are worth making available to view. They are mainly views and details of London, Greece and nature but there are other pictures too.

Being from an architectural background I value qualities in light and space.  However, photographs tend to revolve around objects or subjects.  Many of the photographs here are taken in London: its buildings, its parks, its river.  I hope some other qualities come through, in addition to the recognizable scenes.

I have started by putting some of the photographs I enjoy into Collections.  These are accessible through the top right-hand corner of a computer screen where it says “Collections”, or the “=” symbol on mobile phones.  At present there are eight Collections:  Butterflies, Greenwich, St Paul’s Cathedral, Southwark Park, Southwark Cathedral, City Churches, Tower Bridge and Greece which has some sub-sections under it.

Clicking on any picture in a Collection takes you a clearer presentation where you can swipe through the rest of the pics. Titles and captions can here be turned on or off.
